The 2012 Marlborough Historical Society Calendar is available now for $10 ($8 for members) for purchase at the Society's programs and special events and by mail (see below), and through area merchants.  (Note that the $8 price for members is available only for purchases directly from the Society.)

Created by Joan Abshire, the Society's photo archivist, from historic images in the Society's collection.  Each tw0-page spread includes a large grid to write appointments and keep track of your activities for the month.

The 2009 calendar - $2

The 2009 calendar includes many never-before-published photos of Marlborough’s past, including the Wallace Garage, Robert Clarke’s Farm, the Otterson House, Tercentennial boys, an early parade at Middlesex Square, St. Ann Academy’s 8th grade class of 1947, the 1898 Horribles Parade, Fairview Farm, the coal car accident on Florence St., the Union Club in 1898, the Good Old Days, and the Hunt sisters.

Thumbnail photos of all of Marlborough’s Mayors from 1890 to present are included in the new calendar as well as many photos from Marlborough’s past: Park Street in winter during the early 1900’s; inside a shoe factory around the turn of the last century; 1906 Marlborough High School baseball team; Beck’s filling station around the 1920’s; JFK at the Monument on Memorial Day 1954; J. Boyd & Brigham Shoe Shop late 1800’s; Mayor Edgar Gadbois in circus parade 1974; the Hartley Family haying around 1920; St. Viator’s High School for Boys around 1952; the Dudley House and Samuel Dudley 1897; Frances Gorman and her father Frank selling Buddy Poppies to Mayor Charles Lyons; and Charles Flynn at the wheel of a Rochet-Schneider classic car around 1910.
